BODY: Starting at neck end of body with gray, ch 3; join to form ring.

Rnd 8: sc in bl (back loop) only of next 12 sc; working through both loops, sc in next 9 sc.

FAN: Note fan is worked in rows.
With nose of head facing you, join gray in first unused lp of rnd 7 of head.
Row 1: ch 1, 2 sc in same lp as joining and in each of next 11 unused lps; 24 sc, ch 1, turn.
Row 2: sc in each sc; ch 1, turn.
Row 3: 2 sc in next sc; sc in next 22 sc, 2 sc in next sc: 26 sc; ch 1, turn.
Rows 4-5: rep row 2.
Row 6: working in fl (front loops) only, rep row 2.
Row 7: (sc in next 2 sc, dec) 6 times; sc in next 2 sc: 20 sc; ch 1, turn.
Row *: (sc in next 3 sc, dec) 4 times; 16 sc.
Row 9: (sc in next 2 sc, dec) 4 times; 12 sc. Finish off, leaving a 12" end for sewing and set aside.
   LARGE HORNS : (make 2): Starting at end of horn with gray, ch 2; join to form a ring.
Rnd 1: ch 1, 3 sc in 2nd ch from hook; 3 sc.
Rnd 2: sc in each sc.
Rnds 3-5: rep rnd 2. At the end of rnd 5, finish off, leaving an 8" end for sewing and set aside.
SMALL HORN: With gray and leaving a 4" end, ch 3; sc in 2nd ch from hook and in next ch. Finish off leaving a 4" end for sewing.
EYELIDS: (make 2): ch 5; sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each rem ch. Finish off, leaving an 8 " end for sewing.
FINISHING: Referring to photo, stuff tail and sew to back end of body. Stuff head lightly and attach eyes and eyelids; stuff head firmly and sew to front end of body. Stuff legs firmly and sew to body with toes pointing forward. Fold fan back and stuff lightly. Tack row 9 of fan to head slightly behind row 1 of fan. Sew side edges of fan tog. on each side. Stuff large horns and sew to top of head near back of fan. Sew small horn to top end of nose.  Embroider mouth and nostril as in photo.
