Case side = make 2: Row 1: ch 18, dc in 4th ch from hook, (ch 1, skip
next ch, dc in each of next 2 chs) 4 times, ch 1, skip next ch, 2 dc in
last ch, turn (12dc, 5 ch1 sps).
Row 2: ch 3, dc in same st, ch 1, 2 dc in next st, (ch1, skip next
ch sp, dc in each of next 2 sts) 4 times, ch 1, 2 dc in next st, ch 1,
2 dc in last st, turn (16 dc, 7 ch1 sps).
Rows 3-18: Ch 3, dc in next st, (ch 1, skip next ch sp, dc in each
of next 2 sts) across, turn.
Rnd 19: Working around outer edge in sts and ends of rows, evenly spacing
sts so piece lays flat, ch 1, sc around, join with sl st in first sc, fasten
off.
Beginning between first 2 sts on row 1, weave ribbon through ch1 sps
to top side, then weave down through next row of ch1 sps to bottom; continue
across case. Glue ends to wrong side. With right side out, place inside
vinyl eyeglass case, if desired.
