DRESS: For Bodice, with red, ch 16; being careful not to twist the ch, sl st in first ch to form ring, (ch 3 counts as first dc, dc) in first ch, 2 dc in each ch around, join with sl st in top of ch 3. (32dc)
Round 2: Ch 3, dc in next 7 sts; for armhole, ch 1, sk next 8 sts; dc in next 8 sts; for armhole, ch 1, sk last 8 sts; join.(16dc, 2 ch - 1 sps)
Round 3: ch 3, 2 dc in next st, (dc in next st or ch, 2 dc in next st or ch) around, join. (27dc)
Round 4 for skirt: (ch 3, dc, ch 1, 2 dc) in first st, ch 2, sk next 2 sts, *(2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc) in next st, ch 2, sk next 2 sts; rep from * around, join with sl st in top of ch 3.
Rounds 5-10: Sl st in next st, sl st in first ch1 sp, (ch 3, dc, ch 1, 2 dc) in same sp, ch 2, *(2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc) in next ch 1 sp, ch 2; rep from * around, join with sl st in top of ch 3.
Round 11: Sl st in next st, (sl st, ch 5, tr ) in first ch 1 sp, (ch 1, tr ) 4 times in same sp, ch 2, sk next ch 2 sp, *(tr, ch 1) 5 times in next ch 1 sp, tr in same sp, ch 2, sk next ch 2 sp; rep from * around, join with sl st in 4th ch of ch 5. Fasten off.
Round 12: For Trim, join white with sc in any ch 2 sp on round 11; *[working in ch 2 sps on previous rnds, ch 3, sc in ch 2 sp on round 10, (ch 3, sc in ch 2 sp on next rnd) 6 times, ( ch 3, sc ) in same sp as last sc, turn; working in same ch 2 sps, ( ch 3, sc in ch 2 sp on next rnd) 7 times; working across bottom edge, ( ch 3, sc in next ch 1 sp ) 5 times, ch 3 ], sc in next ch 2 sp *; rep between first and 2nd * 7 more times; rep between [], join with sl st in first sc. Round 13: For Neck Edging, working in rem lps on opposite side of starting ch on rnd 1, join white with sc in first ch, sc in each ch around, join with sl st in first sc. Fasten off.
Sleeve: Round 1: Join red with sl st in ch 1 at underarm, ch 3, evenly space 13 dc around armhole, join with sl st in top of ch 3. (14dc )
Round 2: Ch 3, dc in each st around, join. Fasten off.
Round 3: Join white with sc in first stitch, ( sc in next st, sk next st ) around, join with sl st in first sc.
Fasten off. (7sc).
Hat: Round 1: with red, ch 4, 15 dc in 4th ch from hook, join with sl st in top of ch 4. (16dc).
Round 2: ( ch 3, 2 dc in first st ), 3 dc in each st around, join with sl st in top of ch 3. Fasten off. (48).
Round 3: Join white with sc in first st, ch 3, ( sc in next st, ch 3 ) around, join with sl st in first sc.
Fasten off.
Stuff each sleeve with fiberfill and place dress on doll. Tie ribbon around waist in a bow at the back and glue faceted stone to middle of front of bow. Glue curly hair on to head then glue hat on top of hair.
